COLT DEWITT D.C.

CHIROPRACTOR

When Dr. Colt was young, a family friend who taught him how to fly became his mentor. His son was a Gonstead chiropractor in Pensacola, Florida. Dr. Colt traveled south to shadow the chiropractor and see what it was all about. Seeing the fun, lively and healing atmosphere made Dr. Colt realize that he, too, wanted to be a chiropractor.

“If I can help people to avoid more invasive routes like drugs and surgery, I want to take care of them. You can get your problem fixed the right way by addressing the root cause.”

To complete his undergraduate education, Dr. Travis Colt DeWitt attended the University of Iowa. He then moved onto the renowned Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa to earn a Doctor of Chiropractic.

When he isn’t in the office, Dr. Colt loves to spend time with his wife Dr. Nicole, daughter Scarlet, and son Beau. They like to be outdoors and often go to their cabin, fishing on the nearby river and hanging out on the sandbar. Learn more about Chiropractic Care here!

NICOLE DEWITT D.C.

CHIROPRACTOR

With an early interest in the human body, Dr. Nicole knew she wanted to go into the health field. She was very active in sports as a kid and experienced many of the aches and pains that come with that. When she was 16 years old, a chiropractor kept her off the surgeon’s table by treating a shoulder injury non-invasively. It opened her eyes and showed her that you could treat the body naturally without the need of drugs and surgery.

“Chiropractic can address so many things that people would go to the medical doctor for. It’s the natural approach.”
Dr. Nicole attended the prestigious Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa. There, she joined the Gonstead Club, attended Gonstead seminars, and learned from teachers influential in the field. It’s a chiropractic technique that just makes the most sense.

In her spare time, Dr. Nicole loves being a mom to Scarlet and Beau and hanging out as a family with her husband, Dr. Colt. They like to spend time outdoors – gardening, exploring the woods, or spending time at the river. They also have four dogs and three cats at home that keep them busy when they aren’t in the office.

AUTUMN FORD

Office Manager & Billing Specialist

Autumn has a longstanding passion for health and wellness, which has shaped her career in the healthcare field since graduating high school. Prior to joining DeWitt Chiropractic, she gained valuable experience working at the Midwest Athletic Club and in various roles at St. Luke’s Hospital, including CNA, patient care technician, and phlebotomist.

After being diagnosed with scoliosis and migraines as a teenager, Autumn sought numerous treatments for relief. Her journey led her to Drs. Colt and Nicole, whose specialized chiropractic techniques provided the lasting relief she had been searching for. Autumn joined DeWitt Chiropractic in November 2021, where she now focuses on promoting a more natural approach to health and wellness. You can find Autumn around the office assisting patients, performing blood draws for blood analysis, and answering any insurance and billing questions patients may have.

Outside of work, Autumn enjoys spending time with her husband, Zac, and their two dogs, River and Maverick. She is an active member of Radiant Church CR, and in her leisure time, she enjoys boating, riding motorcycles, working out, traveling, and cheering on her favorite sports teams—the Iowa Hawkeyes, San Francisco 49ers, and St. Louis Cardinals.

NICHOLAS KERKOVE

Certified Nutritionist

Nicholas’ journey in health and wellness began at Iowa Western College, where he pursued his passion for nutrition. Following college, Nicholas expanded his expertise by managing a Vitamin World store, where he gained valuable experience and earned certifications from respected institutions in the health and wellness field. These certifications provided him with the knowledge and skills necessary to guide individuals toward achieving their fitness goals.

However, it wasn’t until his father experienced an unexpected heart attack that Nicholas’ perspective shifted. This life-changing event highlighted the critical importance of cardiovascular health and inspired him to delve deeply into the complexities of cardiovascular disease. This pivotal moment also led him to explore blood lab analysis, enabling him to understand the key markers that are essential to overall well-being. Motivated by a strong desire to make a meaningful impact, Nicholas developed and implemented successful programs focused on weight loss, gut healing, and comprehensive blood lab analysis. These programs reflect his dedication to providing holistic solutions that target the root causes of health issues rather than simply addressing symptoms.

Nicholas started working at DeWitt Chiropractic in February 2024. You can find him around the office doing post adjustment therapy, nutrition consultations and blood lab analysis. When he isn’t at the office Nicholas enjoys spoiling his nieces and nephews, hanging out with his two cats Goji & Isabelle. He is also an avid outdoors enthusiast, spending his free time fishing, camping, and kayaking with friends.
